The services were excellent, offered us premium free Wi-Fi. Booked a room with spectacular views of the ocean. The staff members were patient and top-class. The hotel had a beautiful location extremely close to Conejos Bay.

The location is very good, which makes access to the beach good quality and is enjoyed.
I didn't like the way they limited access to the restaurants. I think it's fraudulent the way they advertise but then offer a different service. . I have stayed in many all-inclusive hotels and as long as you book at the hotel, you are respected without distinction of day, that's why you are paid all-inclusive. This is the first hotel where to begin with, there was never any staff in the indicated service module, we had to wait an average of 40 minutes and until they saw us upset, they sent someone . Number 2, by the time the lady came to serve us, she told us that there was no more room for any restaurant. Number 3, I clarify that I always showed up at 9 am to make a reservation and they told me the same thing, so that of all the days that I stayed at their hotel, only 2 were able to have dinner like that. I noticed that their restaurants were being remodeled and that they improvised the beach restaurant... I want to suggest that they be nice and speak the truth to the guests, xk we realize. If you were sincere about this, offer an apology for what the remodeling causes, we would understand from the beginning, not have us wait for hours, play with our time and end up cheating. I say cheat, because when the chef out and commenting on my annoyance, I was told that in reality, during my stay, I was only entitled to 2 dinners in those restaurants ... and that I did not know at the beginning, was not what I hired and is not what in advertising and making payment specified.

We struggled to communicate with staff regarding room issues, and no one seemed to take us seriously. The constant lack of towels was aggravating and delayed our dinner plans. I felt utterly frustrated dealing with management, who remained unresponsive.

food in the buffet was very good, except for the Fontana restaurant. It was honorably stale and windy, so it was often empty and everyone went to Donna Rosa. There were different theme nights in Buffet, everything was done very well, there were even lobsters (but they flew away quickly), there was black chicken (see Eagle and Tails), there were European dishes. much sweet. Evening entertainment programs are very well done, were Marjacci. There were dancers. We had 5 trips to restaurants at the hotel, we were only in 3. Oriental and Italian was so good. Mexican was good. We could get local grasshoppers. alcohol in the bars is very decent. Gene Beefiter Tankerin and Bombay, Vodka Capital and graygose, rum 5 kinds of good (not swallow), well, tequila and mescal are very good. cocktails do excellent. coffee in the machine is not bad. went on a tour of the hotel and let out the turtles. near there is a town, you have to go to lunch and there sell local oysters for 500 rubles 13 pieces. other shellfish. there are also two places to go to temascal - it's an indian sauna (see the eagle and tails), it's also very interesting. in general, i recommend to everyone, although i will not go there anymore, in mexico there are still many places to visit!
Of course, the hotel is old and bumpy. It must be about 40 years old. Out of four elevators, only one worked. And to go up from the pool to the room with the stroller, you need an elevator. So of course it's uncomfortable. But they've been trying and fixing. They don't understand the Internet. it seems to be free (in my Deluxe category), but they gave 2 vouchers for 7 days when they lived for 10 days. each voucher on one device. respectively, after 7 days they had to buy a voucher for 3 days.. strange. as i understood, on the quiet coast they have problems with the internet and for them it is a luxury. as the fiber optic has not yet stretched with the u.s., so Mexico lags behind the u.s. Europe and Russia on the internet by about 7-10 years. Since the hotel is old, they are repairing something. in our arrival, they were remodeling a restaurant by the pool. that is, there was a construction site, workers with trolleys and dust, so the bar was moved to the counter with towels and on this counter they did not pour, they had to catch the waiters, who although worn as ugly, all the tourists could not immediately serve, so we did not order anything from them, and went to the lobby. But I looked at the prices for other periods and I can say that I had a much lower price than on other dates. so I think they made a good discount for the time of these repairs and construction. They've only had the kids' room since they were 4. I mean, they don't take kids. Everybody hangs out in the kids' pool with glasses of alcohol. So the pool is really dirty in the evening. But there's slides and kids are excited.

enjoyable stay but room for improvement
The beach experience was good. The water was clear, and the sand felt soft underfoot. I particularly enjoyed the delicious food at the Mexican restaurant, which exceeded my expectations. The staff's attentiveness, always quick to assist with any requests. The garden view from my room added a serene touch to my mornings.

The staf were all very helpfull. Especially the concerege. The use of catamerands. The variety and quality of the two buffet restaurants.
The rooms are dated:tiles chiped, lamp shade broken and taped together, bathroom close up mirror loose, picture on the wall water stained. Exceping the tile these are inexpensive things to fix. The food and service in both al a carte restaurants is really poor.We had been given tickets for five nights usage and only tried each restaurant once. The guarantee on Barcellos web site states that a person should book directly with them and that they will give and additional 10% off if you find another webste that is cheaper. Booking through you was far cheaper but I could not get them to honor the 10% offer. We stayed from Jan. 8th through Jan. 13th and while we were down there we decided to stay 2 more days Monday and Tuesday Jan. 14th and 15th but the rack rate was really high. I booked on line again through you and paid $273 per night. Way less than if I had booked at the front desk but still more than I origionally paid through you. The hotel should have allowed me to extend my stay at the same origional rate. The sushi restaurant's nigri sushi was good but they use cream cheeze in all there rolls. We would never go back ther either. The competition and rush to get lounges both by the pool and on the beach was ridiculous. People were reserving them as early as 5:30 am by putting towels or shirts on them and then not showing up to use them in most cases till 11am and in some cases till 1pm or later. Many guests were rellay upset and in a few cases there was fights over the chairs. The rule was that guests had to use the chairs within one half hour or security would remove the towels and free up the lounges for others. This rule was not properly advertised and was randomly and seldom inforced.
